HANOI – At the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) 2020 within the framework of the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit held from November 12 to 15 in Hanoi, An Phat Holdings (APH) won in the Skills Development category and Dang Thi Quynh Phuong, general director of the Group’s member companies, was crowned Young Entrepreneur 2020.

The ASEAN Business Advisory Council highly appreciated Phuong’s ability to lead, manage and develop successful corporate brands in the market, especially her contributions to building business networks for AnEco compostable products and AnBio fully biodegradable raw materials. At APH, Phuong is also a young leader who has made substantial contributions to the market expansion and business development of the Group’s member companies.

Addressing the award ceremony, Dinh Xuan Cuong, vice chairman and CEO of the Group, said, “The ABA 2020 is an international recognition for APH’s human resource development activities over the past period. Aside from production and business activities, we always attach great importance to the human factor. We will continue to build and develop high-quality, skilled human resources that are also the key factor in the Group’s constant development.”

Formerly as a small business with a modest number of employees, after nearly two decades of development, APH has become the leading high-tech and eco-friendly plastics group in Southeast Asia, owning a team of some 5,000 employees and 15 member companies operating in various fields including compostable materials and finished products, packaging, raw material and chemicals for the plastics industry.

The group always focuses on training and enhancing the quality and professional skills of employees. Also, it has policies to attract and retain talent.

Meanwhile, the ASEAN Business Awards is a prestigious regional award annually organized by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council since 2007. After 14 years, ABA has made a bold impression, honoring outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs that make invaluable contributions to the development and prosperity of the ASEAN community. It is also an informational platform within the ASEAN Economic Community to promote regional and global integration.
