The center, which is designed to have a floor area of 16,970 square meters over 12 stories, including three underground floors, is set to be put into operation in the second quarter of 2022, Nguoi Lao Dong Online reported.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the center expected to be used for 50-100 years, HCMC Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong said that the innovation startup center would provide infrastructure services for startup and innovation activities.

Besides, the center will act as a bridge to connect universities and research institutes with manufacturers and enterprises.
