Two women, aged 51 and 28, flew back to Vietnam from the Philippines through Can Tho International Airport on September 6. The residents of Phu Yen Province and Hanoi City had their samples taken for Covid-19 testing a day later and their test results came back positive for the virus.

The two patients are being treated at Can Tho City’s Tuberculosis and Lung Disease Hospital.

A 35-year-old man and his two-year-old son, who live in Lao Cai Province, entered Tay Ninh Province through the province’s international border gate on August 26. They tested positive for Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, on September 7.
